Rotary Club of Napa Presents Spirit of Rotary Fundraiser

SPIRIT OF ROTARY May 4, 2024, 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Rotary Club of Napa is proud to present our Spring Fundraiser, “Spirit of Rotary”. This year’s event features a picnic and barbeque at the SpiritHorse Ranch in American Canyon. SpiritHorse Ranch is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in January 2012 with the mission of “empowering lives through horses.” The Founder and Executive Director, Charlotte Dougherty, and her group of volunteers provide lessons, classes, and camps designed to improve the lives of children and adults who are facing developmental, emotional, social, or physical challenges. She provides scholarships for lessons to those in the community who need support including:
Charlotte is a survivor herself and credits her success to the horses and to the children and adult program participants. Charlotte has received the KPIX Jefferson Award for her work with SpiritHorse Ranch as seen on YouTube: Rotary Club of Napa has always supported compassionate care for survivors. SpiritHorse Ranch represents our commitment to those in need. Through our Napa Rotary Endowment, proceeds from this Rotary event will: support improvements to the Ranch; provide scholarships for Camille Creek Community School students at SpiritHorse; provide scholarships for campers at Enchanted Hills Camp for the Blind and Visually Impaired; plus provide support for other Rotary Club of Napa projects in the Napa community. Rotary Club of Napa is proud to partner with SpirtHorse and Enchanted Hills for the Blind, two important non-profits in our community which help individuals with special needs who will benefit by therapeutic horse experiences at SpiritHorse and life-enhancing experiences at Enchanted Hills Camp. Join us on Saturday, May 4 for Spirit of Rotary, a day for BBQ, premium wine, live country music, roping demonstrations, entertainment and more! |
