This program introduces children in our community to basic horsemanship and farm animal care. Our primary goal is always to empower the lives of the participants through equine-assisted activities. By working with horses, participants will further develop qualities such as patience and compassion. Horsemanship, after all, is all about doing what is best for the horse. We want our participants to come away from this program not only with knowledge of horses & other farm animals and how to care for them, but with a new appreciation for hard work, for animals, and for themselves.

Our camps offer opportunities for students to get an overview of the different aspects of horse care and riding. Camp sizes are kept small, at only 6 students per camp, to maximize the amount of time that students get to spend at each of our learning stations. Stations include:
Basic Horse Knowledge & Care, Leading, Shoeing, Riding, Games on Horseback, Roping, & Arts & Crafts.
In addition to teaching about horse care and riding, our objective is also to encourage problem solving and teamwork between the students and their horses as well as between each other.

Junior Intern Program
Available to all age groups (ages 4 and up) and riding levels, our Western riding lessons are offered with the focus of teaching balanced riding. Lessons are taught in a safe, progressive manner in which the students feel a sense of achievement. As our riders progress, we even coordinate opportunities for them to participate in horse shows!
