Each horse has a story, skills, and their own unique personality
HobIE
Hobie is a 22 year old registered appaloosa gelding. He has had a very colorful life, starting out as a race horse and doing rodeos (roping, barrel racing, pole bending) to now retiring as one of our most fantastic therapy horses ever! He is always willing to work and do what ever is asked of him. This guy is the BEST babysitter. He is our go to dude for beginners learning to walk without a leader. He is a once in a lifetime horse.

goose
Goose is an 9 year old quarter horse gelding that has been a part of our program since he was a baby. He has a super sweet disposition and is very playful with anything in his reach. If he is left to his own, he will take riders for a nice gentle stroll to wherever he wants to go. This makes him perfect for our intermediate riders as they learn to take control of the reins and really ride! Even though he can annoy our riders with his antics, we trust him completely. He has carried riders through all disciplines and really loves his job!

Roxi
Roxi is our 7 year old registered Quarter Horse. This stunning girl catches everyone's eye who sees her. Her beautiful black coat and cute face win every beauty contest. But she's not just pretty, she is also smart and kind. She loves to be loved. Hugs are her favorite. Roxi just had her first foal, named Pixi, and will return from her maternity leave in a few months.

lexi
Lexi is our compact horse. Her tiny frame is perfect for littles! She has several fancy moves because she was trained to be a reining horse before she retired from that life and joined our team. She can spin really fast and do really cool sliding stops when cued. Kids who love to go fast love trotting with Lexi because she trots with purpose. This girl goes around and does her job well. She's not the most beautiful, but we all know that beauty isn't everything!

zee
Zee is our resident Momma. She recently had a baby we nicknamed "Smidge." Maternity Leave is now over and Zee is back to work and excited to be moving again. She is a fancy trained quarter horse with a beautiful slow jog and lope. Because of her past, she is a little head shy, but every day she gets more and more cuddly as she learns that people here are kind.

Spirit
Many people think Spirit is a baby because he is a little guy, but he is actually the oldest horse on property! He is the perfect match for our younger students as they learn how to lead horses. He lives in the "petting farm" with his buddy Donkey, Trevor (the goat), and Gypsy(the sheep). On occasion we attend outside events and Spirit usually tags along with us. He is a crowd favorite because of his demeanor and charm. Sweet guy!

donkey
Yes, our mini donkey is appropriately named "Donkey." She is such a sweet heart. She lives in the "petting farm" with her buddies Spirit, Trevor (the goat), and Gypsy(the sheep). If you enter the petting farm and have a seat, Donkey will find her way into your lap. We don't ride Donkey, but we do enjoy her love. Just like Spirit, Donkey accompanies us when we do attend off site events. She too is a crowd favorite.
