Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Napa joined us for a mini day camp today! The Littles got to learn about each horse at our program, as well as the basics of grooming, roping, and leading. We finished off the day with Leading Games. Our instructors handed the reins over to the Little's, who in turn were able to teach their Bigs about everything that they learned during the camp. The Little's introduced their Big's to their horses and instructed them on how to properly lead and care for their horses. Great Job, Cowboys and Cowgirls!
It was another busy morning out a SpiritHorse. After our morning riding sessions and interviews with Good Day Sacramento, we moved right in to our American Canyon Resource Center Foster Kid Horse Day! The kids got to learn about horse care, blacksmithing, roping, leading, and riding!
